Why should I set the altitude of where I live on my MultiServe?

The altitude will affect the boiling/steaming temperature point of the water. To ensure your MultiServe brews properly you must choose the proper altitude for where you live.
Please note: if your unit is producing excessive steam during the brewing process you may need to change your altitude to an higher setting.
