Why is my Braun coffee grinder not working?

The coffee grinder has a built in safety feature and is designed to not operate when one of the following components is not correctly installed: upper burr blade, ground coffee container,  and ground coffee container lid. Please be sure these are installed correctly. Another reason may be that the unit has overheated and needs to cool down before starting again. Please unplug the unit and wait a few minutes if this happens.
