Ingredients

Servings: 2
Makes:

1 bunch spring onion
1 as needed ginger root, thumb sized
1 tsp sesame seeds
0.5 tsp sea salt
0.5 tsp sugar
150 grams shiitake mushrooms
2 cloves garlic
2 as needed courgettes
1 small watermelon radishes, or 1 small mooli (Daikon)
2 Tbsp sesame oil
200 grams mung bean sprouts
4 tsp sambal oelek paste
4 as needed carrots
4 medium eggs
400 grams
 as needed oil, for frying

Instructions

STEP 1/9

Cook the rice according to package instructions and keep warm.

STEP 2/9

Wash courgettes, peel radishes and carrots. Using Braun's MQ9 all-in-one food processor with its julienne insert, slice the vegetables into thin strips.

STEP 3/9

Clean the shiitake mushrooms and also cut into strips.

STEP 4/9

Peel the ginger and garlic. Using Braun's MQ9 chopper accessory (350ml), chop the ginger and garlic finely using the pulse button at medium speed.

STEP 5/9

Heat some oil in a non-stick frying pan. First add the courgette strips with some of the garlic-ginger mixture and sauté lightly. Then add the radish, carrot, sprouts and mushrooms one after another. With each addition also add some of the chopped garlic-ginger mixture to the pan.

STEP 6/9

For the sauce, mix the sambal oelek paste, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 3 tbsp water and 1 tsp sesame seeds using Braun's MQ9 whisk accessory, season with salt and pepper and set aside.

STEP 7/9

Wash the spring onions and slice into thin rings.

STEP 8/9

Heat some oil in a non-stick pan and fry the eggs one at a time. Season with salt.

STEP 9/9

Distribute rice and eggs between four dishes and arrange vegetables on top. Scatter spring onions on top and mix in sauce. Mix everything together and enjoy!

Note: The ingredients can also be served in a jar or bowl, making it easy to bring your bibimbap to the office. In this case, simply replace the fried egg with a hard-boiled egg. This recipe was prepared using Braun's MultiQuick 9 hand blender with several accessories.
