Ingredients

250 ml buttermilk
180 grams crunchy oats flakes
100 grams raisins
3 teaspoon baking powder
250 grams whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon 
2 medium egg white
 pinch of salt
3  
150 grams apple, e.g. russet
50  oats
20 grams 


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Chop the apple using the MultiQuick 5 Vario Hand Blender food processor attachment (1.5l) and the chopping knife, then add the remaining ingredients and mix using the dough hook.

STEP 2/4

Line the muffin tin (for 12 muffins) with paper baking cases and distribute the batter between the tins. Use the dough hook to mix together the ingredients for the topping and spread onto the muffins.

STEP 3/4

Bake in a pre-heated oven (circulating air: 150 °C) for approx. 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for approx. 10 minutes.

STEP 4/4

Remove the muffins from the tin and set to cool on a cooling rack.
