Yourself and the quality of your steam iron do not only determine how successful your ironing goes. You can make the task a little easier with what happens before:

A modern mosó- és szárítógépek többsége gyűrődésvédelmi funkciót is tartalmaz. A megoldás tisztán mechanikus: a mosási vagy szárítási ciklus befejezése után a dob rendszeresen forog néhányat. A ruhák nem maradnak ugyanabban a pozícióban: mivel a gép időről időre átforgatja őket, nem alakulnak ki gyűrődések. Ez akkor hasznos, ha nem tudja kiszedni a mosott ruhát
azonnal. Ettől természetesen még ugyanannyi inget kell kivasalni, de egyszerűbb a vasalás.

Ha szárítógépet vagy teregetőt használ, ne felejtse el, hogy a tökéletes vasaláshoz a ruhának nedvesnek kell lennie egy kicsit. Igen, a gőzölős vasaló gőzkibocsájtással segíti a feladat elvégzését, de szerencsésebb, ha nem csontszáraz ruhát kezd vasalni. Ha tehát vasalni kell a ruhát, ha csak lehet, ne hagyja, hogy túlságosan megszáradjon. A vasalás könnyebb lesz, és kevesebb erőfeszítésbe fog kerülni.

It prevents the individual fibres to develop too strong connections while drying, which is the reason behind the slightly hard feeling to the touch you can experience without them. As a consequence fabrics are smoother which allows the iron to glide better.

No need to worry if your jumper has shrunk in the wash. Try this: first soak the textile in water with conditioner for about half an hour, then put it on a towel. Stretch out carefully to its original size and let dry. The process can be repeated, if the clothing does not come back to its original shape after the first try. This trick works well for knitwear made from wool, cotton or cashmere.
