Braun\'s new CareStyle 1 models have a function that automatically activates a led and an acoustic signal when descale is required.
The system will remind you to descale it regularly independent of the type of water used. Descaling can be performed at any time needed even when not indicated by the system.
If the «clean» LED and the acoustic signal turn on during an ironing session, it is possible to continue ironing, but the steam function has been disabled until you have performed the cleaning process. There is no need to perform the cleaning immediately. The cleaning procedure can be performed when the ironing session has been finished or next time the appliance is switched on.
