Wash the aubergine and slice lengthwise. Wash the asparagus.
Insert the griddle plate on top and the grill plate on the bottom and use the MultiGrill 9 Pro as an open grill.
Set the temperature of the griddle plate to 200°C and the grill plate to 240°C and press the start/stop button to preheat the grill.
Brush the aubergine slices and asparagus on all sides with miso butter.
When the display shows ready spread the aubergine and asparagus on the griddle plate and grill for about 3 minutes, then turn over and grill for a further 3 minutes. If the vegetables did not fit on the griddle plate, grill them in two portions.

When the sear text stops flashing on the display, place the steaks on the grill plate. Set the temperature of the thermoprobe to 60°C (medium).
When the desired core temperature is reached, the MultiGrill 9 Pro beeps and displays the core temperature (rare: 4-5 minutes, medium: 7-8 minutes, well done: 10-11 minutes).
