What does the pilot light on top of the hand blender indicate?

The pilot light shows the status of the appliance, when it is connected to an electrical outlet.

- Flashing red: Appliance is ready for use.
- Solid green: Appliance is released (switch release button is pressed) and can be switched on.
- Solid red: Early warning about overheating. Motor slows down, step by step, till shut off . Let the device cool down. It is ready for use again when the pilot light flashes red.

Note: If the maximum speed decreases under high load and long running time you can still finish your preparation, however you should let the appliance cool down afterwards.
