A fragrant and colourful Mediterranean salad makes this simple salmon dish both healthy and flavourful, using the grill function to perfectly cook the fish.

550 grams cherry tomatoes, halved
2 1/2 Tbsp capers, drained
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tsp lemon juice
salt, as needed
pepper, as needed
12 fresh basil leaves, chopped
4 salmon fillets
olive oil, as needed

In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, capers, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, seasoning and basil.
Tip: If you have time, prepare the salad an hour in advance to allow the flavours to develop.
Set aside.
Place the grill inside the drawer, select the GRILL function, FISH, 200°C, set 12 minutes and press the START button. The preheating phase will begin.
Once preheating is complete, lightly oil the salmon skin, then place the fish on the grill with the skin side facing up, then press the START button.
Transfer the salmon to a serving plate, serve with the basil salad.
