An ironing system or steam generator iron is made of an iron and a separated station that can be filled with water. It has a larger water tank capacity and a higher steam rate in comparison to a steam iron. This is due to an integrated boiler within the station that is able to produce a bigger amount of steam with higher steam pressure.
