Wash the pepper and cut into rough chunks.
Put oil in a pan, add the peppers and fry over a medium heat. When the peppers start to soften, take the pan off the heat and leave to cool.
Blend all ingredients with Braun’s MultiQuick 7 350ml chopper attachment until it forms a consistent mixture. The spread will keep in a sealed container in the fridge for at least 2 days.
Tip: The pepper can be replaced with mushrooms; if doing so, sauté the same amount of mushrooms and blend with the nuts.
