Toasted ham and cheese sandwich

Serves 4
Preparation time: 15 min

Ingredients

8 slices of cheese (Gouda or Gruyère)
8 pieces of toast
4 slices of ham, cooked

Preparation

Top 4 pieces of toast with 1 cheese slice each, then with 1 ham slice and again with cheese.
Cover with the remaining pieces of toast.
Place the sandwiches one after the other in the anti-leakage sandwich cage from Braun’s ID Breakfast Collection Toaster HT 5015, put it in the toaster and press the sandwich button. Serve immediately.

Variations: The cooked ham can be replaced with turkey breast or salami for variety.

Chai Latte

Serves 4
Preparation time: 15 min

Ingredients

800 ml whole milk (alternatively: almond drink)
4 bags chai tea
4 tbsp. honey
Optional - some milk foam & cinnamon for decoration

Preparation

Please refer to the instructions on the tea packet and set the right temperature with Braun’s ID Breakfast Collection Water kettle WK 5115. Boil 200 ml of water and let the tea bag steep in it as long as recommended.
Boil the milk with honey using a pot and mix with the brewed tea.
Pour the chai tea and milk mixture into 4 glasses or cups and then decorate with milk foam and some cinnamon.

Try something new

You can easily substitute chai tea with your favorite tea bag (matcha, earl grey, rooibos, or others) and the process will work the same.

Simply add some grinded nutmeg to your coffee powder to give it an exotic flavour. If desired, add some cream to your cup for a bit of richness, and you're good to go.
