50 grams almonds
1 bunch of carrot greens, untreated
60 grams Parmesan cheese, pieces
1  garlic clove
2 stalks of parsley
100 grams sunflower oil
  salt
  pepper


Instructions

STEP 1/4

Dry roast the almonds in a pan and leave to cool.

STEP 2/4

Peel the garlic and pluck off the carrot tops, wash and shake off excess water.

STEP 3/4

Blend all ingredients, adding salt and pepper, with Braun’s MultiQuick 7 500ml chopper attachment.

STEP 4/4

Put the pesto into a jar, cover with olive oil, ensure an airtight seal and store in the fridge.


Few people know that you can eat the tops of carrots or radishes. Try out pesto with radish leaves or wilted lamb’s lettuce.
This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 7 (MQ 7025X).
Prepare the recipe also with one of our other models, such as Braun’s MultiQuick 9 (MQ 9135XI) or Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Vario (MQ 5235 WH/BK). A 500ml chopper attachment is not necessarily needed but you can simply use the food processosr attachment with the chopping tool or the blending shaft instead.
