Ingredients

Makes:

120 g softened butter
70 g brown sugar
2  medium eggs
1  lemon
130 g cream cheese
150 ml buttermilk
 pinch salt
1 tbsp vanilla extract, or vanilla sugar
180 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
50 g blueberries

For dusting
50 g icing sugar

Instructions

STEP 1/6

Cream the butter and add the sugar while stirring.

STEP 2/6

Add eggs one at a time and continue beating.

STEP 3/6

Add zest and juice of lemon and remaining ingredients except for the blueberries and mix everything together. Mix until the mixture has a thick consistency. Then stir in the blueberries.

STEP 4/6

Insert the waffle plates and press the start/stop button and choose level 2. The MultiGrill 9 Pro begins the heating-up phase.

STEP 5/6

When the display shows ready use a ladle to pour the batter into all areas until the entire surface is covered. Close the MultiGrill 9 Pro and bake for about 5-6 minutes (the grill can be opened at any time to check the degree of browning). Repeat with remaining batter.

STEP 6/6

Dust with icing sugar and serve.


Tip: A blend of cream cheese (100 g) with blueberries (30 g) pureed as a dip goes well with this.
