It is important that the motor unit is only run for 1 minute, no longer, in any 4 minute period, particularly for heavy mixtures.In the unlikely event you need to use the hand blender for longer ensure it is allowed to rest.Even though it is whisking lighter foods such as eggs and cream, avoid using the whisk attachment for longer than 3 minutes in any 10 minute period.

Certain kinds of food such as carrot and tomato can lead to discoloration of the plastic. To remove these stains,try wiping them clean with vegetable oil before washing them.The staining is not dangerous and the shaft will be safe to use. Hand blenders with a stainless steel shaft will resist staining.

The small chopper can be used to chop, shred or mince a wide variety of vegetables, meats, nuts or herbs.The HC chopper is especially suitable for meat, cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, chillies (with water), carrots, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and prunes. Please note that it is recommended to make use of the highest speed level when processing hard ingredients - e.g. parmesan cheese. It is not recommended to process very hard goods in the HC chopper. Ingredients like: Ice cubes, nutmeg, coffee-beans or grains are not suitable for this chopper.

When do I need the whisk?

You should only use the whisk for whipping cream, beating egg whites and mixing sponges and ready mix desserts. Only light mixtures should be whisked. The whisk collar should not be placed in the dishwasher.
