400 gram zoete maïs
300 gram aardappelen, peeled & diced
2 tenen knoflookteentje
1 klein ui,  finely chopped
1 tbsp. olijfolie
900 ml groentebouillon
300 ml melk
100 ml slagroom
2 sap van limoenen
450 gram garnalen
5 tbsp. extra vierge olijfolie
1 teentje knoflookteentje, finely crushed
1 sap van citroen
 proeven zout
 proeven gemalen zwarte peper
1  avocado, peeled and chopped
2  tomaten, diced
1 tbsp. koriander, chopped


Instructies

STAP 1/5

To avoid mess and tearing eyes, attach Braun’s MQ 20 chopper accessory to the MQ 7 Hand blender and finely chop the onion and the garlic clove by simply pulsing one or two times.

STAP 2/5

Peel and dice the potatoes. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan over a medium heat and add the chopped onion, together with garlic cloves, potatoes and sweet corn.

STAP 3/5

Add the vegetable stock to the heated ingredients, bring to boil, and then reduce the heat to simmer for ten minutes, or until the potatoes have cooked through. Stir in the cream, milk and lime juice. Shortly after this, season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

STAP 4/5

Attach the Hand blender to its blending shaft and blend in the saucepan until smooth. Cover and chill for 2 - 3 hours.

STAP 5/5

For the grilled prawns, you thread the prawns onto small skewers and place in a shallow dish. To prepare the marinade for the Mediterranean prawns, place the garlic, parsley, salt and freshly ground black pepper together with two tablespoons of olive oil and a half tablespoon of lemon juice into Braun’s MQ 40 chopper/blender accessory, attach to the MQ 7 Hand blender and roughly chop. Pour the marinade over the prawns and leave for 30 minutes.


This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MQ 7 Hand blender with its MQ 40 chopper/ blender accessory (1.25 l) and its MQ 20 (350 ml) chopper accessory, like for example in our set: MQ 745 Aperitive.
This recipe can be also prepared with MQ 5045 WH Aperitive or MQ 545 Aperitive.
