When the LED CLEAN light starts flashing it is time to descale your machine. Remove the gold tone and charcoal filters before descaling Add descaling solution (following packaging instructions) into the water tank and fill it up with water Place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate Place the lever in position \'Coffee\' and press the On/Off button Press Clean to start the descaling process. The countdown timer will start displaying 23 minutes Once the cleaning process is complete the countdown will show 4 minutes and the clean light will flash. Empty the carafe of the cleaning solution. Fill the water tank with a full 10 cups pot of fresh water, place the empty carafe on the warming plate, and press clean to start the rinsing cycle. When the program is complete, the On/Off and Clean lights will turn off Empty and wash the carafe before use. Please note: Once the cleaning cycle has started, it is not recommended to stop. However, if the cycle is started in error please press the On/Off button to end the cycle.

When your Multi Serve coffee maker shows the error code E13 in the display, it means that the heating plate is not reaching the preset temperature for the desired drink choice. This could happen when you\'re trying to brew an Over Ice beverage, but the Over Ice function was not engaged. If the carafe is full of ice, and you choose a hot coffee drink, this will prevent the heating plate from reaching the proper temperature and the E13 error will appear. To clear this error from the display, unplug the unit and let the unit sit idol for 5-10 minutes. Then, plug the unit back in and reset the time before using.

The H2O error code indicates a few things: It could mean that there is not enough water in the tank for the selected beverage; or it could indicate the water tank in not seated properly in the unit and there is air in the circuit. If the H2O error appears, completely remove the water tank from the unit, reinsert it by firmly pushing it into place, and fill the tank with at least 1.5 liters (50 ounces of water). Turn the unit off and then back on to clear the error. If this does not help, remove the water tank again and reinsert it ensuring it clicks back into place. You may need to try this a few times to clear any air in the line and clear the error.

Press and hold HR to scroll through the hours. Release it once the desired hour is displayed. Press and hold MIN to scroll through the minutes. Release it once the desired minutes are displayed. After a few seconds the clock turns permanently on and the time set is automatically saved. Please Note: When the number count passes 12, the PM light will be displayed. When the coffee maker is first plugged in or when power is restored after an interruption, the display starts flashing 12:00 AM and you hear an acoustic signal.

Over Ice: This is an espresso or a longer coffee that is directly brewed over ice to obtain a cold coffee. To obtain a less diluted OverIce drink, we recommend brewing the drink without ice, waiting for it to cool a little and then serving it by adding ice. Cold Brew: It is a more concentrated coffee with higher caffeine levels, brewed at a lower temperature than a normal coffee to enhance its sweet and full-bodied properties. To obtain a perfect ColdBrew drink, we recommend preparing it in a carafe without ice, placing it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and serving it afterwards with ice.
