Ingredients

Servings:
Makes: 6

250-300 grams mashed potatoes, from the day before, cold
1  egg
1 piece of bread, from the day before
40 grams cheese, (Gouda, Emmental or similar)
  oil, for frying
  salt
  pepper

Instructions

STEP 1/4

First, chop the bread with Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Vario 350ml chopper attachment and transfer into a bowl. Afterwards chop the cheese with the 350ml chopper attachment as well.

STEP 2/4

Mix the cold mashed potatoes with the rest of the ingredients in the food processor attachment using the kneading hook and leave to rest for half an hour.

STEP 3/4

Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan. Wet your hands and cut pieces out of the dough with a tablespoon and shape into patties.

STEP 4/4

Put the patties in the hot oil and fry each side until browned. The patties taste great warm or cold.

Tip: Add chopped vegetables to the dough and serve with a yoghurt dip seasoned with salt and pepper.
This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Vario (MQ 5277 BK).
Prepare the recipe also with one of our other models, such as Braun’s MultiQuick 7 (MQ 7085X) or Braun’s MultiQuick 9 (MQ 9187XLI).
A 350ml chopper attachment is not necessarily needed but you can simply use the food processor attachment with the chopping tool instead or the 500ml chopper attachment.
