De’Longhi Group compliance with Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act)

De’Longhi Group is committed to comply with applicable regulations, including the recent Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act). You can find more information here.

In accordance with Art. 3, Chapter II of the Data Act, please find below some information regarding data created by using our connected products and Apps.

Connected Product Data

While using one of our connected products, you are creating non-personal data called “Connected Product Data”.

Detail	Description
Type	Product status, commands selected in the machine’s display or through the App, such as drinks/ temperature/ speed/ etc. selected, statistics, machine’s settings.
Format	JSON, CSV
Average estimated volume	Around 2 Mbyte per day
Data generated continuously and in real-time	Yes
Storing and retention period	Both in the connected product and on a remote server for 5 years.

Related Service Data

While using our Apps, you are creating non-personal data called “Related Service Data”. Related Service Data can be distinguished among:

● Data saved by you in the App
● Data on how you use the App

Nature	Data saved by you in the App	Data on how you use the App
Average estimated volume	Around 2MByte per day	Around 100 Kbyte per day
Collection frequency	When You are saving Data in the App	Every time you are using the App
Access method	By using the App	Not-applicable as data is stored anonymously
Storing	On cloud	On cloud
Retention period	For all the time necessary	14 months maximum

Please be informed we will use the data in order to provide you with our services and with a personalized experience and for statistics purposes. We will not share such data with external parties.

The Data Holder is De’Longhi Appliances S.r.l., with registered office in via Lodovico Seitz 47, 31100, Treviso (TV), Italy.

You can contact us by writing an email to access.productdata@delonghigroup.com. Please be aware that we might need the email address you used to create your account and the serial number of your product.

You acknowledge that, although singular Connected Product and Related Service Data might not constitute trade secret, the collection and processing of a vast amount of Product data can potentially provide relevant technical and commercial information that may be subject to trade secret protection.

We remind you that, in accordance with Article 4.10 of the Data Act, you shall not use the Connected Product and Related Service Data obtained by De’Longhi to develop a product that competes with the connected product from which the data originate, nor share the data with a third party with that intent and shall not use such data to derive insights about the economic situation, assets and production methods of De’Longhi.

For any complaints or reports on how your data is processed we will make every effort to respond to your concerns. However, if you wish, you can forward your complaints or reports to the responsible authority in your Country.
