Sandwich with rocket, ham and curry mayonnaise

Makes:

For the sandwich
4 slices wholegrain bread
20 g rocket
4 slices cooked ham, thin

For the mayonnaise
2 egg yolks, medium
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp water
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp mild curry powder
350 ml sunflower oil

Instructions

STEP 1/6

For the mayonnaise: To mix the mayonnaise you can use Braun’s MultiQuick 9 beaker and blending shaft. Put all the ingredients except for the oil in the beaker. Only then add a little oil.

STEP 2/6

Press the blending shaft on the bottom of the beaker. Mix the ingredients on the highest level until the mass emulsifies. Gradually add oil while slowly pulling the blending shaft upwards. The finished mayo should have a creamy consistency.

STEP 3/6

Season again with salt, pepper and curry powder.

STEP 4/6

For the sandwiches: Spread the mayonnaise on 2 slices of bread, add ham and rocket and top with the other 2 slices of bread.

STEP 5/6

Insert the Grill plate set and press the On/off button. The SnackMaker 5 will start pre-heating.

STEP 6/6

When the plates are hot, place the sandwiches on top, close the device and cook for 6-7 minutes. Then serve with additional mayonnaise.
