2 figs, large

200 ml red grape juice

5 tsp honey

½ tsp green peppercorns

2 sprigs fresh thyme

30 g pistachios

125 g soft goats cheese

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the grape juice with 3 teaspoons of honey and boil down to a syrup.

Step 2

Crush the green peppercorns with Braun's MultiQuick 9 spice grinder attachment and add to the syrup.

Step 3

Wash the thyme, shake dry and chop the leaves. Also chop the pistachios.

Step 4

Mash the soft goats cheese with a fork and mix with the remaining honey, pepper, thyme and pistachios.

Step 5

Halve the figs and make a slight indentation in the middle. Fill the fig halves with the cheese mixture.

Step 6

Insert the griddle plates into the MultiGrill 9 Pro and use it in oven grill position. Set the temperature of the lower plate to 190°C and the upper plate to 240°C. Press the start/stop button to preheat the grill.

Step 7

When the display shows ready, place the figs on the lower griddle plate and bake for about 6 minutes until golden brown.

Step 8

Serve the figs hot on a bed of grape syrup and garnish with some sprigs of thyme if desired.
