All parts (except the motor unit) can be cleaned in the dishwasher at temperatures up to 65°C. Pulp and other residue should not become dry before the appliance is cleaned. Tip: The appliance may discolor when processing food with a high degree of pigments (e.g. carrots); try useing vegetable oil to clean it, before cleaning with detergents in the dishwasher.

What does ’pulse’ mean?

Selecting the pulse setting will let your food processor run at optimum speed, as long as you hold the button on this position. This function gives you best control over the processing, it is useful if  you need short bursts of power and can avoid over-processing. The pulse  mode is for example useful for the following applications: - Chopping delicate and soft food, e.g., eggs, onions or parsley. - Carefully folding flour into dough or batter to maintain the creaminess. - Adding whipped eggs or cream to more solid food.

How to Use the Express Serve™ of Multipro Express Weight?

Attach the drive shaft with smaller Express Serve™ drive shaft and main bowl onto the power unit. Turn the bowl clockwise to lock into position. Fit the Express Serve™ base onto the main bowl. Ensure the grey part aligns with the bowl handle. Fit the slinger plate into the Express Serve™ base. Fit the required attachment/disc - do not apply excessive force. Use in conjunction with the following: Slicing/grating discs Dicing disc 5. Fit the lid, turning clockwise to lock into position.6. If desired, attach the extension chute.7. Plug in, switch on and select a speed (refer to the recommended usage chart).

If the food is not exiting the food outlet, switch off and check that food is not clogging under the disc and the slinger plate is fitted. Clear any trapped food before continuing to process.

Cut vegetables straight at the top and bottom to help them process better. To assist with processing place both hands on top of the pusher and press down firmly. For best results, use fresh fruit and vegetables. To prevent the food from jamming, do not pack the food tightly in the feed tube – ideally the food should be cut no larger than 50mm x 30mm. If the food is too hard to push through the grid, cook for approximately 10-15 minutes, then allow to cool in a refrigerator before processing. Always remove hard skins, stones, pips and seeds etc., from food before processing. To make crudités, assemble the Express Dice™ but omit the dicing disc. Then push use the dicing pusher to push ingredients through the dicing grid. Note:Due to the various sizes and shapes of foods, the diced results will contain some misshapen pieces, this is normal.Foods such as cheese, ham, and chorizo will clog in the grid so are not recommended for use with this attachment.
