Pizza Waffles with Tomato-Cream Cheese Dip

150 grams spelt flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

pinch of salt

1 tbsp. dried oregano

1 medium egg

40 grams butter

125 ml whole milk, (or a dairy-free alternative)

2 tbsp. tomato purée

0,5 tbsp. red pepper, chopped into 5mm pieces

2 slices cooked ham, chopped into 5mm pieces

4 slices salami, chopped into 5mm pieces

3 tbsp. tomato purée

200 grams cream cheese

100 grams low fat quark

to taste Salt


Instructions

Step 1

Grate the Gouda using the grating insert of your Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Vario Hand Blender with its food processor attachment (1.5l).

Step 2

Add all the dry ingredients to the food processor accessory and mix using the dough hook. With the blender running, add all the wet ingredients via the feed tube and mix until a smooth mixture is formed. Max. kneading time: 1 min.

Step 3

Warm up the waffle iron and fill each section with 3-4 tablespoons of dough. Cook the waffles until golden brown.

Step 4

Prepare the dip by using the whisk to mix all the ingredients until creamy. Season to taste and serve with the pizza waffles.
