Serves 4 (8 skewers)

Prep: 15 minutes

Cook: 12-20 minutes

Difficulty Level: Easy

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 wooden skewers

Spice Mixture

  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup coriander seeds
  • ¼ cup blanched hazelnuts
  • 1 tbsp cumin seedsSalt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly roast the seeds and nuts until they begin to color and release their aroma, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Attach the Braun Multiquick 2-cup chopper attachment to the hand blender. Pulse the seeds and nuts until reduced to a coarse meal (be sure not to overwork the spice mixture). Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Divide chicken cubes evenly on the 8 skewers. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Take half of the spice mixture and place in a shallow bowl. Roll the chicken skewers in the mixture to coat evenly. Add more mixture to the bowl as needed.
  5. Heat a griddle or grill on its highest setting. Cook the chicken skewers 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and thoroughly cooked.
  6. Serve with a garnish of crisp green salad and a wedge of lime.
