Crispy breaded prawns make a great appetiser and they are quick to prepare. You can really have fun with the dipping sauce that you serve them with, try sriracha mayo, aioli, sweet chilli or marinara....
Remove the head from the prawns and peel, leaving the tails on. Devein and clean the prawns, then pat dry with kitchen towel.
Dip the prawns in the seasoned flour, then in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
Tip: Press the prawns firmly in the breadcrumbs on both sides to help the crumb coating stick to the prawns.
Lightly oil the drawer, then add the prawns, allow some space around the prawns to ensure they become crisp - cook in batches if necessary.
Select FISH, 180°C, set 10 minutes and press the START button.
Tip: Turn the prawns over halfway through cooking.
Serve hot.
