This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 7 Hand Blender with its food processor attachment.


  • ½ small onion
  • 1 large carrot, peeled
  • 170 g red cabbage
  • 170 g white cabbage
  • 4 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 

  1. Attach the shredding insert (note: this works with the fine and the course shredding insert) to Braun’s MultiQuick 7 hand blender with food processor attachment to shred one after the other, the onions, carrots and both white and red cabbages.
  2. Place the coleslaw mixture in a bowl and add the red wine vinegar and sugar. Season the coleslaw with salt and pepper and let marinate in the fridge for an hour or overnight.
