Carrot and Lentil Mash

Ingredients

 


2 Cups Water
3/4 Cup Red Split Lentils
1/2 Cup peeled and diced Carrots
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Tumeric
1 tsp Coriander

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and then simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Check on the level of the water and add water as needed.
  2. Operate the hand blender at speed <<2>> for about 10-20 seconds and blend the lentils with carrots as needed to create a texture acceptable for your baby.
