This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Hand Blender with its blending shaft and beaker attachment.
- 1½-inch by 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled
- 2 stalks of scallions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice2 tsp brown sugar
- Place ginger, scallions and garlic in the beaker attachment of Braun’s MultiQuick 5 Hand Blender. Using the blending shaft, puree the ingredients until fine.
- Add the sesame oil, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice and brown sugar, and blend until smooth. Use the marinade right away or store it in a covered container in the refrigerator for later use. Marinate your favorite seafood, chicken or meat before grilling.
(Note: 1/3 cup for 1 lb. of shrimp – refrig time: 1 hour; 1/3 cup for 1 lb. chicken breasts – refrig time: 6 hours or overnight.)
