• 3 ripe avocados 
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil 
• 1 tablespoon of chopped chives 
• 1 garlic clove 
• 1 teaspoon of tabasco sauce 
• Juice of 2 limes 
• 1⁄2 teaspoon of sea salt 
• 2 pitta breads

Avocado and lime dip with pitta crisps

Made with: Multiquick 7 Cordless Hand Blender

Serves: 2-4 people



1. Cut the avocados in half lengthways, remove the stones and peel.

2. Put the avocado in the Braun Multiquick 7’s metal beaker with the lime juice, olive oil, tabasco, garlic, chopped chives and sea salt. Blend until you have a light green puree.

3. Transfer the puree to a bowl, cover and chill until ready to serve.

4. For the pitta crisps, tear the pitta bread into crisp-size pieces and brush with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Heat oven to 180oC and bake for 10 mins until crisp.



Chef's tip

If you’re short on time, you can easily substitute the pitta crisps with natural tortilla chips to make a delicious snack for the kids.
