FAQs Juicers

  • Will the Braun Multiquick suit my purposes?

The Braun Multiquick has two speeds so it can easily process both hard and soft fruit and
vegetables. It is suitable for all types of fruit and vegetables including citrus fruit, and you can
enjoy a fresh glass of orange juice in 15 seconds - or a whole litre in less than one minute –
for a quick healthy breakfast. For more information see our model range on our website.

  • Do I need to peel the fruits before I use them?

Any peel will be collected within the pulp that the juice is removed from. However it is always
advisable to remove any stones that may be in a fruit before juicing.

  • What kinds of fruit do each type of juicer juice?

Citrus juicers, as their name suggests, juice Citrus Fruits. So Lemons, Limes Oranges and
Grapefruits, and all similar fruits are to be used in this device.

A centrifugal juicer however can juice most non-citrus fruits, as long as the fruit has juice to
extract then a centrifugal juicer can usually juice it. Fruits such as bananas cannot be juiced
    though.

The Braun Multiquick can juice both types of fruit. Remember to peel citrus fruit and remove
    any stones.

  • What are the differences between a Citrus Press and a Centrifugal
    Juicer?

A Citrus juicer is a device that basically squeezes the juice out of a citrus fruit, the fruit must
be cut in half before use and most of the pulp stays on the half fruit. A Centrifugal juicer
Juices harder and whole fruits by spinning them through a fine mesh. This will result in pulp
build up, usually in a storage device, and also a large amount of juice.

  • What can I do with the left over pulp?

There are many things you can do with this by-product of the juicing process. Why not try
using the pulp in cooking, recipes such as muffins, or layered recipes such as lasagne work
very well. There is also the possibility of using the pulp as mulch in your garden. You can
even feed the birds with it.

  • What is the best way to process leafy greens?

We recommend rolling leafy greens up tightly before processing in your juicer. This will
ensure you get the best benefits from vegetables such as cabbage, kale and spinach.

  • My juicer will not work. What can I try?

The Braun 4 way safety system will ensure a safe experience. If one of the conditions is not met the motor will stop within 3 seconds or will not start at all.

If it will not work check the following:

    • Check that the clamps are securely locked as the juicer will not function if this is not the case for safety reasons.
    • Next, check the lid, filter and the juice collector is assembled correctly.
